We are proud to announce that Payne Transportation has once again been recognized as a Trucking HR Canada Top Fleet Employer for 2026, and this year’s recognition carries special significance as we celebrate our 10+ years as a Fleet of Distinction.
The Top Fleet Employers program is a national initiative that recognizes fleets with leading human resources policies and practices across areas such as skills development, workplace culture, employee engagement, recruitment, compensation, sustainability and innovation. It is a rigorous review process that highlights organizations helping set the standard for excellence in Canada’s trucking industry.
Achieving Fleet of Distinction 10+ status is an important milestone for our organization and a reflection of the commitment, professionalism and teamwork shown across every part of Payne Transportation. From our drivers and mechanics to our operations, administrative and leadership teams, this recognition belongs to all of the people who help make Payne a strong, supportive and high-performing workplace every day.
We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition once again and even more proud of what it represents: ten years of building a workplace culture focused on people, growth, safety and excellence. Thank you to our entire team for helping make Payne Transportation a place where employees can build meaningful and rewarding careers.
We are thrilled to announce that our very own Vice President of Finance and Administration, Pauline Wiebe Peters, has been officially sworn in as the President of the Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA)!
Pauline’s appointment is historic, as she is only the second female to serve as President in the MTA’s 90-year history. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for the trucking industry make her the perfect choice for this prestigious role. She will serve as MTA President for a two year term.
Pauline was officially sworn in as President at the MTA Annual General Meeting on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the iconic Fort Garry Hotel.
We are confident that under her guidance, the MTA will continue to thrive and represent the interests of the trucking community in Manitoba.
Congratulations, Pauline!
